Advent Theory

When I do get married, I hope to honeymoon in Europe.  I wouldn’t want to go to the populated places, but somewhere quaint and old like the south of France, or the ruins of Pompeii or even some small country like Croatia.  Europe has that old world charm that’s so attractive to me. Being that I’m not a “beach” person, an island  get-away doesn’t sound very relaxing to me.  Sure, they’re probably beautiful, but as an individual who has a passion for learning and exploring, Europe sounds like a much more exciting place.  What a wonderful way to start of a new life with someone you love.

If I really thought about my greatest achievement, I’d say it hasn’t been achieved yet.  I currently work as a Phlebotomist and have been in the medical field my whole adult life, but to me, it’s just a paycheck.  I have a passion for writing and I hope one day I’ll be able to at least say, even if it’s not published or no body reads it, that I finished a novel.  I have all these ideas in my head that I can’t quite seem to get together yet, but I know that when it’s time for the words to come out, they will.

If I ever had the opportunity to live underwater for two years, I would defiantly want to be a coral reef.  I chose coral reef because it would be an excellent way to observe all that happens underwater where human eyes can’t see.  Not only would I be bright and beautiful, but I would be able to see how sea life really lives. I could just stay put and see all that happens but at the same time I’d have a whole ecosystem depending on me for survival.  It’d be much better than being a fish a worrying about getting eaten.

When I think of heaven, I do not imagine clouds or harps or pearly gates.  I went to a Catholic School and that may be precisely why I don’t believe in an afterlife that consists of forever and ever worshiping God.  My idea of heaven – and worship – is of my energy dissolving into the world and forever after being part of every molecule and every atom in existence.  As my body decays and becomes food for the ground, my soul goes into everywhere and everything and thus I am forever part of the great circle of life.
