Advent Theory

Most days here at college become very routine as the semester drags on, with the same activities being repeated almost all the time and in the same manner. Most days, I simply get up in the morning, get ready for class, run to said class (usually ending up being late), then repeat until I’m done with classes. I enjoy a lunch at McDonald’s, the local pizza shop, or the school’s cafeteria, which I do not enjoy dining in because of its limited selection and the subpar flavor of its foods. I usually meet up with some friends throughout the day and either eat lunch or dinner with them, and, depending on what day of the week it is, I may attend a social activity or group meeting in the evening, or I may just return to my room to work and draw.

Most of my family and friends have viewed me as a very shy, introverted person over the years. I cannot argue that in the past I was hesitant to try anything new and was very much bound to a strict set of activities, refusing to leave my comfort zone at all. However, after I randomly struck up a conversation with a very handsome guy at my college’s activities fair, I was led to see an improv comedy troupe that performs every Thursday night for free. I spoke with the actors after the show, amazed at their performance, and they told me about a class where I too could learn the magic of improv. After a few months of training, I feel very confident in my abilities, not just as an actor, but also in speaking with others.

In my spare time, I like to draw. I’ll draw nearly anything except buildings. Most of the time, my hand seems to move on its own, creating whatever image is fresh in my mind at the time. Usually my drawings end up being people, whether it’s one of my original characters that I’ve designed, a celebrity or person I like, or something completely new. I usually don’t plan my drawings very much or at all, which is exciting because it means that I have no clue how it will turn out. Some drawings turn out better than others, but I still love doodling all the same, even to the point of drawing during class instead of paying more attention to the teacher!

Everyone knows that dogs are the most loyal among animals towards human beings. It will be loyal even if it is feed well or not. But it is an animal which needs a lot of protection and care. Only then it can protect you from dangers and enemies. It needs to be fed well. It should be given nutritious food like dog food by Blue Buffalo. Pedigree is an important item which should be included. Dogs should be given milk without sugar. Meat and bones should be included twice in a week. My pet dog Roger is not as lucky as every dogs, because he is treated in a very ordinary way, even if he is a German Sheppard. The food of the dog varies depending on its breed. If the dog is of high breed then the food also should be of good quality.
