Carnival Clown

Hands down, my absolute favorite job was when I had a summer job as a circus clown. I loved every aspect of this job. I would arrive early before my shift just to watch the elephants being trained and the lions being fed. I would practice my comedy and magic act with some of the cleaning staff before the show. I also loved picking out which clown suit I would wear for the day. And sitting in the make up chair while the make up artist applied my white face and rosy cheeks and wacky eye brows, was like no other feeling in the world.

Beer Can Chicken

I made an extremely succulent and tasty “beer can” chicken. I washed and marinated a whole fryer chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, brown, sugar, vinegar, and fresh garlic. I then popped open a can of Michelob Light (because I have to watch my calories), took a few swigs for good luck, as this was my first time making this kind of chicken. Then I inserted the beer can on to the cavity of the chicken. I turned the oven to three-hundred and fifty degrees and two hours later the chicken was done. This was the best chicken I had ever eaten.

For the weekend I went on a shopping spree. First I went to the local outlet mall. I needed shoes so I went to the shoe store, the sneaker store, the boots store and even though it’s almost Winter I even went to the store that sells sandals. Then I went to the Coach store to buy new pocketbooks. I bought a red clutch bag and a purple hobo bag, a blue shoulder bag, a pink satchel, a yellow tote, and even a black backpack like bag. Then I was off to the hat store where I purchased the most fabulous straw hat. And I could not leave the store without buying the cutest cow boy hat to go with the boot I had bought earlier.
