I try to live my life in a manner that leaves me without regrets. I still got very good grades, graduating with a 3.71, but if I had applied myself a little more, I could have easily gotten a much higher GPA. Admittedly, in that time I was taking college classes because we had concurrent enrollment at my school, so it was very difficult class work, but I still could have put more effort into it.

The hardest thing I ever had to do was to move out of my parent’s house this past fall. I moved to a completely different state, hundreds of miles away, without a school or job to go to. I found it hard to leave my mom in particular. Her and I have always been close, especially since my father has worked overseas for the past 7 years. When I still lived with her, we did everything together so it is hard not having my best friend near me. I know it has been hard for her too. Luckily, I get to move home for the summer until I start college in the fall!
