Advent Theory

I love when summer turns into fall for a variety of reasons.  The weather chills, the leaves turn awesome colors, and of course, it is football season.  There is no better sport on earth and it can really occupy my time.  From the Thursday night college games to the very end of the NFL Monday night game, football entraps me.  I love the passion in the sport not only with the players but the fans.  It causes such an emotional rollercoaster, who needs theme parks?  With every snap of the ball, there is something to look forward to.  I simply love the game of football.

The greatest hobby that I have ever picked up is the guitar.  Most of my friends played during college and I found watching them play was more fun than trying.  Finally, I decided to give it a shot.  This hobby is the most soothing and fun way to pass time.  It is awesome to see how I have progressed over the years by doing simple recordings on my computer.  In addition, it is a great outlet of creativity by putting together songs in my own style.  My next goal is to form a small band and enjoy playing music with others.

Recently, I was at a family member’s house for dinner.  Although expecting the norm, the menu called for something I had never had, Zucchini Boats.  I must admit that I am not a huge fan of zucchini and I thought this would be one of those meals I would have to say I politely liked, but really hated.  I was completely wrong.  Big zucchinis were cut in half and stuffed with all sorts of goodies including spicy sausage, vegetables, and completely covered in cheese.  What a surprisingly excellent meal!  I made sure to get the recipe and plan on making it myself soon.
